Delicades: A Story of Stories
Over 50,000 people have seen Delicades during their 150 performances, a show between the Earth and the sky.
Humor is a constant in the paths of t de teatre and Alfredo Sanzol. It’s a way of looking at reality that has brought them together to make Delicades, a story of stories whose characters are fragile and delicate and have to manage to live forgetting many a time what fragility and delicacy is.
Delicades is a spring story where life fights with all its might to stay alive. A story in which being alive is more important than how to live. My grandmother believed in heaven and the first thing she did when she woke up, before giving her plants their daily water, was to look up. And at bedtime, the last thing she did was also to look up, up at the sky. Women with their feet on the ground and their eyes pointed at the sky. That has been the key to building a space in which these two elements, earth and sky, literally appear before your eyes.
Over 50,000 people have seen Delicades during their more than 150 performances. Since its premiere at the Festival Grec 2010, where it was the most watched show, Delicades has gathered rave reviews and a magnificent public acclaim. On April 1st, Delicades will big farewell to Barcelona and Poliorama, where it has been on since February 1st.
