Maison Martin Margiela for H&M
On November 15 the capsule collection by the Parisian brand will be on sale and is sure to catch the eye of H&M's most trendy customers.
Once again H&M has a reason for celebration. Shortly after celebrating with Anna Dello Russo the launch of her latest capsule collection of eccentric complements, the Swedish company has taken on a new collaboration with Maison Martin Margiela. The collection includes clothing for both men and women and will be available in over 230 H&M shops worldwide on November 15, amongst which we find the one at Passeig de Gràcia No. 9.
Founded in 1988, Martin Margiela‘s fashion has always avoided convention and has smartly dodged trends. His collections are infused with a conceptual and somewhat ambiguous style that is very characteristic of him. The Belgian designer has reissued some of his clothing articles and accessories from previous seasons especially for the occasion and for H&M’s most trendy customers.
MMM is an artistic, iconoclastic and always innovative brand. Neither fashion brand was short on words to praise the new collaboration that hopes to match the success of the previous ones. Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor at H&M, has defined MMM as “one of the most important and influential French fashion brands in the last three decades”. She has also described the collaboration between the French and Swedish brands as “radical“, producing a “memorable” collection.
