Asia Time in Barcelona
People in Barcelona will be able to enjoy for free 4 days of various art forms come straight from the Asian continent.
All of us fans of anything and everything Asia cannot miss the XI Festival Asia 2012, which will be held from September 21 to 24 in Barcelona. For its 11th edition, all Barcelona will be filled with music, art, dancing, workshops, and Asian dishes to try.
This year the Asian communities will be at the centre of the festival’s new offerings: the debut of Asian choir Barcelona Coral Asia and the first Asian Talent Show. The international touch does not end there, as groups and artists from South Korea, Azerbaijan, Japan and Pakistan will be playing especially for the festival.
The Festival Asia will be on for 4 days and will once again coincide with the Mercè festivities and the BAM. The activities will take place in many places in the centre of Barcelona: the Plaça de la Catedral, the Plaça dels Àngels, the Plaça Joan Coromines, the Francesca Bonnemaison Women’s Cultural Centre and the CCCB (Centre de cultura contemporània de Barcelona).
