The music festival Guitar BCN celebrates it’s 27th edition in Barcelona, a new edition that it’s described as “the best of it’s history”, and it does so with a full lineup and for all tastes.

The line up includes many interesting groups, one being the last chance to watch live in Barcelona the Orquestra Buena Vista Social Club (april 4th, Auditori del Fòrum) the new Amaral’s Nocturnal tour 2016  (june 11th, Sant Jordi Club) and the return to the festival of the Brazilians Caetano Veloso & Gilberto Gil (may 2nd, Palau de la Música Catalana). It also it’s important to highlight the level of Tommy Emmanuel (march 16th, BARTS), Adrian Belew (MARCH 2nd, Bikini) and Tomatito (april 15th, BARTS), and we can’t forget the jazz bassist Marcus Miller (april 13th, BARTS). But there’s much more, the noisy and melodic guitars of  Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds (april 9th, Sant Jordi Club), the chords of tindersticks (april 14th, l’Auditori), the sensibility of Yann Tiersen(may 3rd, Palau de la Música Catalana) and the talent of Greg Dulli (february 24th, BARTS), among many other options.

Besides the big names, the festival presents less popular but not exempt of great artistic quality in the Ciclo Guitar Club, with the slide guitar genius Jack Broadbent (may 7th, BARTS Club), the country of Lindi Ortega (february 18th, BARTS Club) and the songwriter Judith Owen in collaboration with Leland Sklar (may 14tho, BARTS Club).

A perfect options for the lovers of live music. Check the festival schedule to know the venues and the artists performing.
