


Gandules 2014: “Out of Home”
Gandules 2014 film festival is focusing on migrants today and recounts the difficult and unexpected paths they have to travel to reach their destination.
From 5 to 21 August, free sessions contemporary film entitled “Out of Home” will be projected at CCCB Pati de les Dones. This new program of Gandules’14 – Gas Natural Fenosa focuses on migrants today and recounts the difficult and unexpected paths they have to travel to reach the destination where to find hope and dream that their country of origin are not given.
The film festival shows 10 journeys full of emotions leading his players find their place in life through cultural experiences. In addition, all sessions are accompanied by one of the nine selected through competition organized under the age of 20/20 Actions CCCB shorts.
Gandules 2014 will start the 5th august with the film La pirogue (Moussa Touré). During the same week we’ll see Welcome (Philippe Lioret) and Amreeka (Cherien Dabis).
During the secound week She, a Chinese (Xiaolu Guo), I am from Chile (Gonzalo Díaz), and Auf der anderen Seite (Fatih Akin) will be projected.
Finally, during the last week of Gandules 2014 festival we will be able to see Hwanghae (Hong-jin Na), Aquí y allá (Antonio Méndez Esparza), Chaplin The Immigrant (1917), and for the first time in Spaing the belgium film Illégal (Olivier Masset-Depasse).
