A DESIGN FOR LIFE

This week’s FadFest, joins designers from around the world with the best in local talent in the DHUB building.

With a raft of impressive new talent, and the not unimpressive DHUB building serving as an HQ for many of the city’s leading companies and schools, Barcelona seems well on it’s way to reclaiming its crown as a center for European design. Run by FAD – a non profit association that has been promoting design across disciplines since 1903 -This weeks FadFest is the best place to see what the city has to offer, with showcases in fashion and industrial design as well as a series of talks from some of the best in the industry. Throughout the week there’ll be prizes awarded in fashion, architecture and industrial design, as well as a general exhibition themed around ‘the future of creation’. A good place to visit for anyone who’s fed up with Ikea.
