Spring and Summer by COS

The high-end signature firm by Swedish H&M offers us a minimalist, architectural and retro summer. Very COS.

This year, winter has been rather lazy. If it had been any less lazy we’d be celebrating carnival in short sleeves. It’s no wonder that with this utterly un-winterish weather we’ve got our minds set on the summer ahead. And of course, the Spring/Summer 2012 men’s collection by COS does nothing but push us towards sun, sea and fashion.

The Swedish firm, which will turn 5 in April, offers a minimalist and geometric summer, where straight lines, symmetry, high waists and blue and green colour palettes are the front and centre. A clearly retro-y collection that, while not a major revolution with regards to their previous collections, stays true to the architectural style so characteristic of the brand.

And, when a brand like COS (Collection Os Style) has the word ‘style’ in its name, it’s difficult to turn its back to it.Even in the teaser videos for its collections, like this one. Nope. You definitely can’t get more minimal than COS.
