Best Hands of Spain
Discover the craftsmanship behind each of the typically Spanish Loewe creations in the exhibition at the Loewe Gallery.
Until August 25, the Loewe Gallery in Barcelona is holding the exhibition “Best Hands of Spain“, an initiative that is part of a larger communication project by Spanish luxury brand.
The exhibition presents a wide collection of typically Spanish items such as the Manila shawl, espadrilles, the fan and the “Loewe Animals”. In addition, a series of videos have been created starring the hands and tools used by Loewe craftsmen, a fine way to capture the beauty of the creation process.
Finally, as a finishing touch to this project that pays tribute to the world of crafts, the professional couple Ana Domínguez and Omar Sosa —who are part the team at “Apartment” magazine— has created a series of simple still-lifes made up of typically Spanish hand-crafted products. The famous “sombrero cordobés”, monteras, Granada pottery, glassware from Mallorca, espadrilles, and fans will all be the front and centre of these constructions.
