Alimentaria 2012: 19th edition and still going strong
From March 26th to 29th 2012, Alimentaria will once again be a world-renowned business centre.
Alimentaria is one of the most important food and drinks exhibitions in the world. That is how major international food production and distribution industries have come to see it. It’s an important event whose success has been based on specialising what it offers, innovating and a opening its doors to businessmen from around the world. That is how this exhibition defines itself.
From March 26th to 29th 2012, Alimentaria will be a world-renowned business centre with more than 4,000 firms and around 150,000 visitors from over 72 countries: a huge boost for Barcelona.
Some facts to bear in mind:
— 30% of the exhibitors are international: around 1,500 companies.
— 6 out of 10 exhibitors state that Alimentaria helps raise their exports.
— Alimentaria generates a turnover for its participants of over 18 billion euros.
