The Fundació Suñol Celebrates its 5th Anniversary

Josep Suñol celebrates his foundation's 5th year with a magnificent journey through the last 50 years of artistic creation.

Category: Cultura | 21 September, 2012
Editor: Daniel Vidal Hussey

Five years after opening the Fundació Suñol, Josep Suñol wants to take a fresh look at his collection to re-explain concepts and works. This time he wants to focus more on genres and themes, which have been divided into 8 main categories: Faces, Writings, Dreams, Bodies, Abstractions and Geometries, Landscapes, Expressionisms, and Resistances.

The exhibition displays and analyses the work of more than 70 renowned national and international artists such as Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Man Ray, Zush, Jaume Plensa, Luis Gordillo, Alighiero Boetti, Salvador Dalí, and Antoni Tàpies, among many others. The aim is to explain how each author envisions, transforms, orders, and experiences everything, first by himself and then with those who admire his work.

The 5th anniversary exhibition can be seen at the Fundació Suñol until March 2, 2013. Do you want to be part of the more than 45,000 people that have walked through its exhibitions?
