Yo la Tengo and Mogwai play the first ever Tibidabo Live Festival.
Seeing as music festivals are basically theme parks for adults, it was only a matter of time before someone would take things to their logical conclusion. Enter Tibidabo Live Festival, a two day extravaganza held in Barcelona’s iconic theme park. As if the views, and the promise of getting wasted and going on a roller coaster weren’t enough, they’ve also roped in two of the best art rock groups in the world as headliners. Friday night sees Yo La Tengo bring their distinctive brand of bittersweet pop and 60’s inflected guitar workouts, while Mogwai take over on Saturday, promising to take the decibels as high as the altitude.
