The “Romanesque Times. Art, life and awareness” exhibition uses audiovisual and interactive resources to take visitors back in time a thousand years to see, hear, smell and, in short, experience what the people behind the stones – the all-powerful clergy and the lords – were really like. The display also gives an insight into the aesthetics of an age, the technological advances and innovation of the Romanesque as a whole: a unique, singular element of heritage both inside Catalonia and beyond its boundaries.

The first opportunity to visit the exhibition will be in Room 3 of Barcelona’s Palau Robert, from 9 September 2014 to 18 January 2015. It will subsequently travel to various towns and cities around Catalonia.

For more information about the exhibition and book a guided visit Palau Robert website.
