Barcelona is ready to celebrate L’Alternativa
The Independent Film Festival of Barcelona will screen up to 159 films and will organize alternative activities for families and professionals.
Barcelona is ready to celebrate a new edition of L’Alternativa, the International Independent Film Festival, that will take place from 17th to 23th November at CCCB, at Instituto Francés and La Filmoteca de Catalunya.
The festival will screen 28 international films that will participate in the official competition, a dozen of national films and two fiction films inside Partly Fiction.
L’Alternativa will also recuperate some films of two of the most influential independent filmmakers: Anne-Marie Mieville and Djibril Diop Mambety, including the classic “Touki Bouki”.
Along the week there will also take place some alternative activities for families and professionals, such as masterclasses, seminaries, and other activities. Take a look at Festival de Cine Independiente website for more information.
