Frangella, drawing machine

The Foundation Suñol surprises us again with the exhibition The jug which pours or Machine to draw of Luis Frangella (Buenos Aires, 1944 – New York, 1990)

This experimental work gathers thirty-two pieces all of them made between 1980 and 1989 with the aim of showing the work of an immanent and genuine artist, whose work moves through the thin line between abstraction and a constant challenge to figuration. From a basement of New York, which the artist uses as a laboratory-workshop, looks at the world and transforms what he sees.

Come to the Foundation and enters the universe Frangella, lucid and subtle with his personal perception of the relationships between objects and their proportions
