The artistic composition of Casa Batlló, as well as its vibrant polychrome, reveals an unmistakable allegory of the Carnival.

Many people see elegant Venetian masks in the building balconies, pieces of mosaic make them think of confetti and, what’s crowning the façade might well be the cap of a friendly harlequin.

From the 1rst until the 3rd of March, two cheerful harlequins will be surrounding Passeig de Gràcia area. They will be interacting with the passers-by while humming some catchy chorus that aims to open path towards a sublime carnival symphony that will take place in the mysterious work of the great architect.

To celebrate this exceptional gaudinian carnival, these two harlequins will be giving away among the public a total of 3.000 masks inspired in Casa Batlló’s façade colors. On its reverse, an exclusive discount of 6,5€ for the Cultural Visit.
