Exhibition “Barcelona haute couture”
Last days to visit the exhibition that the Palau Robert dedicates to the golden age of fashion genuinely Catalan
There was a time not so long ago, in which Barcelona was a world leader in high fashion. This exhibition offers a tour by the “golden age” of fashion genuinely Catalan, where may be seen more than a hundred original dresses by Jeanne Lanvin, Pedro Rodriguez, Manuel Pertegaz, Cristobal Balenciaga, Carmen Mir, Asunción Bastida, Pedro Rovira and Margarita Nuez, as well as creations of prestigious houses as Santa Eulalia or El Dique Flotante.
The dresses of the sample belong to the private collection of Antoni de Montpalau, exhibited for the first time in Barcelona after having been presented at the Museum of Costume in Madrid with great success.
