Cara B Festival
Who says live music is dead?
This Saturday seven of the best alternative groups in Spain play together for less than the price of a cheap Gin and Tonic. The venue is a destination in itself, a repurposed garment factory in Sant Adria that now houses exhibitions and recording studios, as well as being one of Barcelona’s burgeoning creative hubs. Music wise, the line up is more indie than your most fucked up pair of DM’s: Mujeres are rightly considered as one of the greatest garage rock and roll groups in the world, with their last album channelling Suicide and Los Saicos in equal measure, while El Ultimo Vecino make the kind of pop that would have Dennis Wilson catching waves in his coffin.
