As standing out online becomes more difficult than getting served in a popular bar on a Saturday night, web design is more and more important to doing business in the digital marketplace.
The people behind Awwwards, a website dedicated to showcase the best of web design around the world know this better than most. Starting last year in Paris, their IRL conferences bring together a staggering amount of the worlds leading developers and designers, to talk on everything from Web GL to what movies can tell us about the future.
This year the conference is coming to Barcelona, an emerging European center of digital innovation in it’s own right, and promises two days of tech talk from the best in the business, from Spotify’s head of design to an ‘Architecture Evangelist’ from Microsoft.
At the end of the day, anything that means spending less time arguing with web developers is a good thing right?
