The CCCB (Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona) presents the international exhibition “World Press Photo” under the title “Face Reality”. A compilation of moments that invite to comment about the state of the world.

From November 6th to December 8th 143 photographs can visit this prestigious prize awarded in different categories: news, current affairs, contemporary issues, daily life, portraits in the environment, portraits, nature and sports.

5,666 photographers of 124 nationalities and 103 481 images have participated in the last edition of the award. Among them, the photograph of Paul Hansen has been selected as the winner of this edition. Swedish photographer shook the entire world with the image taken at the funeral of two children after air raid on Gaza in 2012.
