BCNOW! Or how to make the most of Barcelona
The Barcelona City Council and the city’s businesses are launching the third edition of BCNOW!, an initiative that offers discounts on culture and leisure activities.
Barcelona is a city that shines thanks to the wide range of opportunities and entertainment on offers for its citizens. Many times, unfortunately, our wallets say no to entertainment or culture festivals. But these days we are very happy as there are no more excuses.
Until February 5th the third edition of BCNOW!, or Barcelona Opportunity Week, will be on. Ten days where the city will offer special crisis-beating prices on hotels, flights, restaurants, markets and even florists. As for culture, is also set in motion the initiative Set de cultura will be on and it will include major events in theatres, cinemas, museums and concert halls.
So you want to go to the theatre? Many of them, like the Gran Teatre del Liceu, will have discounts from 25 to 50%.How about a trip to the museum? La Pedrera, the CCCB, the Museum of Chocolate and others will provide 2 for 1 offer, the same as are many cinemas.Maybe something to get your body moving? Razzmatazz, the Apolo and Sidecar will also be giving special discounts.As you can see, these coming days being bored will be a difficult feat in Barcelona.
And if the word ‘offer’ and is enjoyment enough, how about giving it a charity twist? Much better, right? Many of the offers you can find include a charitable contribution that will be detailed in each case.Do you really need any more reasons not to stay at home?
