46th International Jazz Festival of Barcelona

The 46th International Jazz Festival of Barcelona has organized more than 100 concerts that will take place during the next two months in the catalan capital.
John Legend, Paolo Conte, Branford Marsalis and Chucho Valdés are some of the greatests musicians that will take place in the Jazz Festival.
The Afro-Cuban pianist, Chucho Valdés, will offer the world premiere of “Irakere 40 + Chucho 70″ (4th November), a show that reviews the 40 years of history of Irakere, the band that Chucho funded in 1973. The day before, Valdés will participate in the tribute to the sommelier of the restaurant El Celler de Can Roca, Josep Roca, that will take place in the foodie space Monvínic.
after being in the festival in 2007 and 2011, the singer Paolo Conte comes back to the catalan festival to present his new disc, “In concerto”, at the Auditori (11th November).
Joachim Kühn (23rd October), Vicente Amigo (24th October), Wayne Shorter Quartet (28th October), Gary Burton Quartet (6th November), John Legend (6th November), Mark Turner (10th November), Martirio i Raúl Rodríguez (13th November), Branford Marsalis (15th November), Joan Chamorro Quartet (21st November), Marlango (27th November) and Agustí Fernández (29th November) are some of the musicians that will be at the International Jazz Festival of Barcelona.
