Dirk Bikkembergs: the Perfect Luxury Flat in its new Flagship Store

The cradle of Modernist architecture is ready to receive a new cutting-edge concept in the form of a luxury apartment. Equipped with everything needed to feel comfy and relaxed, the new Dirk Bikkembergs flagship store will turn into every athlete’s dream flat.

This new store measures over 600 m2 and is spread over two floors. It is designed as the ideal home for a cool, dynamic, refined, sporty man. As is to be expected, the store will have all the man, woman and kids collections available for sale, but even among the products we will find personal items, pictures, books, games, and the odd trophy. They are the objects that are part of any athlete’s luxurious lifestyle.

The firm’s personality is present in every detail, even in the furniture and in the decorations, which are in line with those in the Milan flagship store opened in 2009.

This shop has created a new brand experience that will obviously have to be seen in person.

The Barcelona store has been open since June 16 and it aims to impress but most of all to get people in the city to interact with it. Dirk Bikkembergs himself said it was “a real dream that finally takes shape in one of the most creative and exciting cities in Europe”. In Asia, where these kinds of shops are common, maybe a store like this would go unnoticed, but clearly in Barcelona it will be much talked about.

And that is not the end of it. The idea is that from now on other famous people from the world of sports will live in the boutique as if it were their own home. If seeing is believing for you, starting today, Ferran Alabau (footballer and model) will live in Passeig de Gràcia 99 for a whole month.

In addition, during the day a show will be held about the brand and about Barcelona. What’s more, 99 athletes will be going around Barcelona in a bus at some the most well-known spots.
