La Pedrera’s Secrets
The play "Un Cau de Mil Secrets" revisits the landmark building by Gaudí through adventures and fascinating discoveries for all the family.
I always thought of La Pedrera like a big present wrapped up with a blue ribbon. When we step inside, the present opens up and we discover what’s inside. But best of all, the present is always different and never the same. There are always new places, new nooks and crannies, new anecdotes or stories. La Pedrera is reborn again and again before our eyes because it is so great and so rich that it can always offer something new. Something amazing.
Un Cau de Mil Secrets is this year’s new present: a musical that will show us a new Pedrera.This time, through the eyes of its 4 main characters. Four people visit the house together with Graziel, a labourer who worked on the building. Together they will live an adventure that will reveal secrets you had never imagined before. The secrets of La Pedrera. Its symbolism. Its spirit. In short, a family play with 10 songs intended to excite, entertain and, above all, teach.
The musical is aimed at families, schools and children and was created and written by Joan Vives and Piti Español. The main characters are Marc García, Paula Vives, Marina Pastor, Jordi Coll and Edgar Martínez, all with a lot of experience in the world of theater and musicals. The staging and artistic production has been carried out by the company El musical més petit.
The show, which premiered on January 27th, is produced by the Obra Social de Catalunya Caixa.
